Description

This setting allows the admin to hide, show, or change the order of buttons on the home screen. The following are the values you can choose from:

  • User =  A placeholder for user picture which the application obtains automatically from Salesforce if it exists.  A user may tap this button to override and use a picture from their mobile device instead.
  • Calendar  =  A calendar in Day, Week, and Month views (iPhone is Day view only).  A user can view their Exchange calendars and their Salesforce events together on one calendar.
  • Tasks  =  Salesforce tasks.
  • Events = Salesforce events.
  • Documents = Allows access to Salesforce Content libraries even when offline. 
  • ContentLibraryTabs  =  A button group.  If using Content Library Tabs (see "Pulsar As A Platform" Settings), you must specify "ContentLibraryTabs" in this list. Depending on the use case, the admin can decide which of these buttons and in what order they would like to display by simply specifying a subset of the names in the preferred order. 
  • AppTabs  =  A button group.  These are the Salesforce tabs associated with the selected App.  This is the only item that the admin cannot hide; If not explicitly specified in the setting, it will be appended at the end.

Description

The Home page can have a background image.

Add Attachment: Save the setting and then attach the file to the setting record (Recommended resolution 1024 X 768 pixels) 
If you happen to upload a background that makes the default label color unreadable, change the label colors.  Android and Windows specific background image is specified with pulsar.home.backgroundImage.Android and pulsar.home.backgroundImage.Windows, respectively

Description

On the bottom toolbar of the home page, a logo of the company can be displayed. This setting lets the admin upload the image, so they will have a branded look for the app.
Notes/Comments

After saving the setting, press the 'Attach File' button under the Notes and Attachments related list and upload an image file.

Important Notes:
-The recommended resolution is an image file that does not exceed 44 pixels in height.  

-The recommended resolution is an image file that does not exceed 200 pixels in width. This is to avoid clashing with the other items on the bottom bar.  

-It is recommended to use the toolbar color setting to set background color, and use a transparent background on the image file whenever possible.

-If specifying this setting, please also consider adding the high resolution logo image setting as well.
