This setting allows the admin to hide, show, or change the order of buttons on the home screen. The following are the values you can choose from:

• User =  A placeholder for user picture which the application obtains automatically from Salesforce if it exists.  A user may tap this button to override and use a picture from their mobile device instead.

• Calendar  =  A calendar in Day, Week, and Month views (iPhone is Day view only).  A user can view their Exchange calendars and their Salesforce events together on one calendar.

• Tasks  =  Salesforce tasks.

• Events = Salesforce events.

• Documents = Allows access to Salesforce Content libraries even when offline. 

• ContentLibraryTabs  =  A button group.  If using Content Library Tabs (see "Pulsar As A Platform" Settings), you must specify "ContentLibraryTabs" in this list. Depending on the use case, the admin can decide which of these buttons and in what order they would like to display by simply specifying a subset of the names in the preferred order. 

• AppTabs  =  A button group.  These are the Salesforce tabs associated with the selected App.  This is the only item that the admin cannot hide; If not explicitly specified in the setting, it will be appended at the end.

HomePage Hide Unsynced Object Tabs

The bottom row reflects the tabs the user is set up to see in Salesforce UI. If you decided to not sync some of the objects that represent the Icons and would like to hide the corresponding tabs, use the following setting.

HomePage Override Tab Labels

pulsar.home.<sobject|pulsar_tab>.label

The new label for the SObject API name or Pulsar Tab (pulsar_user, pulsar_calendar, pulsar_tasks, pulsar_events, pulsar_documents)

Use this setting to override a label for the given SObject or Pulsar tab on home page.

Multiple label overrides are separated by comma or newline.

HomePage Override Tab Image/Color

pulsar.home.<sobject|pulsar_tab>.image

The new background color ,(the RGB color code specified as 3 comma separated numbers), for the SObject API name or Pulsar Tab (pulsar_user, pulsar_calendar, pulsar_tasks, pulsar_events, pulsar_documents)

Use this setting to override the graphics for the given SObject or Pulsar tab on home page.

The image itself (PNG, JPEG) should be attached to this Pulsar Setting.

Home Page Background Image

The Home page can have a background image.

Add Attachment: Save the setting and then attach the file to the setting record (Recommended resolution 1024 X 768 pixels) 

If you happen to upload a background that makes the default label color unreadable, change the label colors.  Android and Windows specific background image is specified with pulsar.home.backgroundImage.Android and pulsar.home.backgroundImage.Windows, respectively

Login Page Background Image

The Login page can have a background image.

Add Attachment: Save the setting and then attach the file to the setting record.  Android and Windows specific background image is specified with pulsar.loginPage.backgroundImage.Android and pulsar.loginPage.backgroundImage.Windows, respectively

Home Page Tab Labels

The color for the tab labels can be modified to help provide better contrast when using a different color background

The color for the top navigation bar throughout the app can be modified to help provide better contrast when using a different color background

Logo Image Setting

On the bottom toolbar of the home page, a logo of the company can be displayed. This setting lets the admin upload the image, so they will have a branded look for the app.

After saving the setting, press the 'Attach File' button under the Notes and Attachments related list and upload an image file.

Important Notes:
-The recommended resolution is an image file that does not exceed 44 pixels in height.  

-The recommended resolution is an image file that does not exceed 200 pixels in width. This is to avoid clashing with the other items on the bottom bar.  

-It is recommended to use the toolbar color setting to set background color, and use a transparent background on the image file whenever possible.

-If specifying this setting, please also consider adding the high resolution logo image setting as well.

Logo Image Setting (High Resolution)

On the bottom toolbar of the home page, a logo of the company can be displayed. This setting lets the admin upload the image, so they will have a branded look for the app.

-If specifying this setting, please also consider adding the high resolution logo image setting as well.

Logo URL Setting

(typically, the home url for a company such as www.salesforce.com)

When the user taps on the logo image on the toolbar the app will take them to this URL.

If you are not customizing the logo Image, the default url is www.luminixinc.com.

Display Web Links and VisualForce page tabs

By default the app only displays sObject tabs on the home page but it can be configured to display links and when the user taps on the icon, it will display the appropriate page in a webview. This includes Reports and Dashboards.

Use External Web Browser For Web Page Tabs

By default, app tabs that display web pages are presented in a webview within Pulsar. Setting this to TRUE will instead display the web page using an external browser (e.g. Safari in iOS).
