First Time Sync
- The very first time you use Pulsar, please make sure the device has a good Wi-Fi/3G connection. This is when Pulsar syncs all the data you need from Salesforce to the device.
- Please remember to keep the Pulsar app open until the sync process finishes.
- If you click the home button on the device (or open another app), the sync will stop.
Daily Sync - Start of the day
- Make sure to sync (over a good Internet connection) before starting the day. This will ensure that device has all the latest information from the Salesforce.
- Click on the green button on the toolbar and then Sync Now (at the bottom) to start the sync process.
- This is generally a very short sync process and should not take more than few minutes to complete.
DO NOT Resync Local DB
- This button is present only for disaster recovery mode and it runs a full initial sync.
- You don't actually ever have to use it. If for any reason, you need to, you should contact your SF admin or Luminix Support
Working in Offline Mode
- If the network connection is not consistent and keeps dropping during field visits, you can work in offline mode.
- You can follow these steps to sync once you have a better Internet connection.
- Finish your work
- Toggle the Work offline option
- Click on Sync Now
Sending Logs to Pulsar Support
- Users can send logs from their devices to Pulsar support team in case of any Sync related issues.
