Each file that is stored in Salesforce has an ID, which is called the Document ID. This is an 18-digit string of characters that uniquely identifies that file. When customizing Pulsar Settings, you may need to enter a Document ID.

Finding the Document ID

The Document ID can be found in Salesforce by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the folder containing your file.

  2. Select View File Details from the dropdown menu for that file.

  3. Look at the URL. The Document ID is an 18-character code near the end of the URL. In this example, it is 069040000019bK5AAI.
