Problem
You initially try to log into Pulsar, and receive an error: Could not resolve host name.
Solution
This error means Pulsar could not connect to Salesforce.
There are a few steps to take to resolve this issue:
Make sure you are online. You must be online to connect to Salesforce.
Make sure you are using the correct username and password. These are case-sensitive. Make sure there are no extra spaces before or after the username and password.
WINDOWS ONLY - There may be an issue with the settings on your laptop. The security settings on your laptop may restrict a connection to Salesforce. Check your security settings and make sure you are allowed to connect to Salesforce. You may need to disable your firewall (Windows Firewall or your anti-virus software’s firewall) and see if you can log in. If that works, you need to whitelist Salesforce in your firewall.
