Learn how quick actions are synced in Pulsar.

What are Quick Actions?

Quick actions help users navigate and use Salesforce efficiently by giving them fast access to selected fields. Users can focus on the task at hand and avoid wading through all the fields in an object. Quick Actions can be global or object-specific. For more information about Quick Actions, refer to Salesforce Help - Quick Actions.

How Does Pulsar Sync Quick Actions?

For processing efficiency, Pulsar syncs all Quick Actions during an initial sync. During a catch-up sync, Pulsar updates only those Quick Actions flagged as modified since the last sync.

How Pulsar Handles Quick Action Deletions

Deleted Quick Actions may not initially disappear from Pulsar after a catch-up sync, because there is no last modified date.

To make a deleted Quick Action disappear, do the following:

  1. In Salesforce, in Setup, use the Object Manager to select the object containing your deleted Quick Action.

  2. Select Buttons, Links, and Actions in the menu.

  3. Navigate to any Quick Action in the list and click Edit from the menu.

  4. Click Save.

  5. In Pulsar, Refresh Settings and Sync Now.
