Logging into Pulsar is the same as logging into Salesforce mobile, because Pulsar uses the same SDK. For this reason, Pulsar does not require a separate login and uses your Salesforce login.

If you have never logged in as a user, just launch Pulsar and it will present you with the login screen with an option to login to Production as a default choice. You can always choose a different connection type to login to Sandbox Follow these instructions to log into Pulsar in the desired environment - Production, Sandbox, or a Custom/Community URL. The screenshots below will walk you through that process. If you are already logged in as a user.

  1. Launch Pulsar.

  2. If you are on the home screen, follow the steps below. Otherwise, proceed to step 3.

    If you see the Home screen, you must get back to the login screen to login as a different user.

  1. Launch Pulsar.

  2. If you are already logged in and on the Home screen:

    a. Click the settings button (gear icon) in the lower right corner of the screen.

3. You will see one of the following screens to log into Pulsar:

If you have never logged in as a user, you will see the login screen below. Click Sign in with Salesforce.

If you have logged in previously, you will see the login screen below. Click Select another account.

Choose an account email and click Select or Click New User, if the account is not in the list.

54. Choose a connection type. The option to login to Production is the default choice. You can always choose a different connection type to login to Sandbox or a Custom/Community URL.

Sandbox or Production

iOS - Choose Connection Screen

Android/Windows - Choose Connection Screen

Community or Custom Server

iOS - Click the + sign to use a Community URL or Custom server. Then enter your address in the Host box and click Done.

Android/Windows - Click Community or Custom. Then enter your URL.

Uncheck the Production server checkbox if your URL is for a sandbox.

65. Log in and enter the account email address and password.

The log in screen may look different, if your organization has customizations.

56. Click Allow on the Allow access screen.

67. If asked for a verification code, check the email listed on the screen and enter the code in the box.
